Mentoring Teens
“And He gave some, apostles; some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.”  Ephesians 4:11-12

Why SIP?

In 1998, the Lord commissioned us to gather  small groups of teens  each summer to disciple and mentor them in preparation for life and ministry.  So we began our Summer Intern Program. Since then we have seen hundreds of these teens grow in the Lord Jesus,  in life principles, and in the ministry.
Their  first three days are filled not only with dance and drama practice, but intense study in the word and life principles.  After watching how to do various types of ministry for a few days,  they are capable of ministering on their own.  It is really a glorious transformation.
Each year the Lord blessed us with an outstanding group of teenagers. It is our delight to mentor these interns–It amazes us to see the change in them from start to finish.  Each one comes in unsure of what is going to take place and of each other, but when it is time to go home they are ready, willing and able to minister with a new confidence and boldness.
This is what it is all about and we are honored to be a part of God’s awesome plan to raise up this generation for His glory.
